Day 1. Samburu.
Morning pick up at the airport / city hotel and embark on an exciting Kenya Tanzania road trip, Travel through the rugged semi-desert region of northern Kenya the homeland of the nomadic Samburu people, whose culture attaches great value to tending their livestock of cattle, sheep, goats and camels as their main economic activity.
The Samburu people’s appearance is dramatic with bright reds, braided hair and skin daubed in red ochre. Samburu is rich in species not seen in southern Kenya’s more famous parks, such as Grevy’s zebra, reticulated giraffe, beisa oryx and gerenuk. You’ll also have a good chance at spotting lions, cheetahs and the elusive leopard. The semiarid landscape is dramatic, with the rugged outcrop known as Mt. Ololokwe a prominent feature.
Arrive in time for lunch. Afternoon game viewing drive inside the park. Dinner and overnight at Sarova Shaba Game Lodge / Similar.
Day 2. Samburu.
Second day of your Kenya Tanzania trip, Breakfast at lodge and leave with lunch boxes as you head for a full day in Samburu with early morning and late afternoon game drives.
Search for the “Stars of Samburu” that is ,rare liver red reticulated giraffe, Grevy’s Zebra, Beisa Oryx, Blue flanked Somali Ostrich, Vulturine uinea Fowl, Longneck Gerenuk. See braving lions on the grass, Cheetah, Leopards among plenty of other plains game. (optional visits to Samburu villages). All meals and overnight at Sarova Shaba Game Lodge / Similar.

Day 3. Sweewaters.
Depart after breakfast and drive west with scenic views of Mt. Kenya,Brief stop at Equator point. Arrive at the Sweetwaters Serena camp in time for Lunch. Afternoon game drive.
Ol Pajeta Conservancy, Chimpanzee Sanctuary and host to all the members of the ‘Big Five’ (elephant, rhino, lion, buffalo and leopard), the conservancy has a higher wildlife-to-area ratio than any Kenyan national park and is one of only four private game conservancies to have been founded in Kenya.
At the forefront of the Kenyan conservancy programe, the conservancy boasts the largest black rhino sanctuary in East Africa, hosts the only chimpanzee sanctuary in Kenya, and shelters large numbers of rare and endangered species.

Day 4. Lake Nakuru National Park.
Breakfast and drive to the Dramatic Rift Valley via Thomson Falls arriving at the Pink Lake for lunch and later proceed for an afternoon game drive. The Bird Watchers’ Paradise On the floor of the Great Rift Valley, surrounded by wooded and bushy grassland, lies the beautiful Lake Nakuru National Park.
Enjoy the wide ecological diversity and varied habitats that range from Lake Nakuru itself to the surrounding escarpment and picturesque ridges. Lake Nakuru National Park is ideal for bird watching and game drives.

Flamingo (Greater and Lesser) and other water birds including a variety of terrestrial birds numbering about 450 species in total.

Day 5. Masai Mara.
Breakfast and depart for the Masai Mara National Reserve, which borders Tanzania’s Serengeti National Park. Every year, between June and September, millions of wildebeests and zebras migrate into the Mara in search of water. The timing of this phenomenon varies, depending on the rains, but they usually start heading back to the Serengeti in October. Whether you see the migration or not, the grassy plains and lush landscape offer a huge variety of game including lions, cheetahs, buffalo and abundant bird life such as ostriches, cranes and storks. Lunch followed by afternoon game drive, Dinner and overnight at Sarova Mara Game Camp / Similar.
Day 6 – 7. Masai Mara.
Breakfast and leave with picnic lunches for a full day game drive inside the Park. Search for Wild game black manned lion for which Mara is famous for, cheetah, buffalo, wildebeest, zebra, leopard, grants gazelle are quite common, even the rare rhino might come out of the thicket for you, hyenas are plentiful, Extend your drive to the hippo point where schools of hippo submerge on the approach of vehicles only to surface seconds later to shot and gamble their displeasure as the crocodiles sunbathe on the river banks mouths agape. Between meals there is optional visit to the Maasai villages for an insight to their culture if clients so wish. Dinner and overnight at Sarova Mara Game Camp / Similar.
Day 8. Masai Mara / Serengeti.
Today will be a lond drive on your Kenya Tanzania trip, Early morning breakfast and at 6:15am leave for Tanzania with picnic lunches, Arrive at Isebania Border, Clear with customes office, Your Tanzania Guide will receive you and proceed to Serengeti arriving for dinner and overnight at Serengeti Sopa Lodge / Similar. The park covers 12,944km2 of open plains making it one of the largest in the world. Tanzania’s oldest and most popular national park, also a world heritage site and recently proclaimed a 7th world wide wonder, the Serengeti is famed for its annual migration, when some six million hooves pound the open plains, as more than 200,000 zebra and 300,000 Thomson’s gazelle join the wildebeest’s trek for fresh grazing. Yet even when the migration is quiet, the Serengeti offers arguably the most scintillating game-viewing in Africa: great herds of buffalo, smaller groups of elephant and giraffe, and thousands upon thousands of eland, topi, kongoni, impala and Grant’s gazelle among other wild game.
Day 9. and 10. Serengeti.
Have 2 full days with early morning and late afternoon game drives at the Serengeti National Park which at 14,763 sq kms is the largest National Park in Tanzania. Summed up as ‘one of the most unique areas in the world’,Serengeti contains the largest remaining concentration of plains game in Africa, on a scale, which has no parallel any where in the world. The abundance of herbivores includes wildebeest, Zebra, Gazelle, Topi, Buffalo, and Hartebeest, to name but a few. Serengeti is also famous for Predators e.g. Lion, Cheetah, Leopard, Hyena and contains a wide variety of birdlife, believed to be in the region of 500 species. Day 11. Ngorongoro.
Breakfast and leave for Ngorongoro Conservation Area, Visit Olduvai Gorge. Arrive for Lunch at Lodge. Rest of the day at leisure. Dinner at Ngorongoro Sopa Lodge / Similar.
The jewel in Ngorongoro’s crown is a deep, volcanic crater, the largest un flooded and unbroken caldera in the world. About 20kms across, 600 meters deep and 300 sq kms in area, the Ngorongoro Crater is a breathtaking natural wonder, an extinct volcano teeming with wildlife often compared to the Garden of Eden. Wildlife viewing in the crater is out of this world. All major animals are easily seen. The only exception is giraffe, which is present in the Conservation Area, but not in the crater because of the steep descent. Elephants are common. All big cats are easily spotted and the density of spotted hyenas is quite extraordinary.
A real special of the crater is the black rhino. Rhino is hard to see in Tanzania and black rhino is typically very shy- sticking to thick vegetation. This is not so in the crater, where they have a predictable routine of spending the night in Lerai forest, and the day in open grassland. Black-backed and golden jackals are equally common in the crater.
Day 12. Ngorongoro Crater.
After breakfast take a Picnic lunch with you descend 670m into the crater floor for game viewing, breaking for lunch at a selected picnic site. The crater is 14.5km. wide and is home to all the big five and hence the same may be seen. Hippos, cheetah, antelopes and the spotted hyena are other species commonly seen as well as flamingos on the crater lakes. Dinner and overnight at Ngorongoro Sopa Lodge / Similar.
Day 13. Lake Manyara.
This morning you will drive to Lake Manyara Area, arrival in good time for lunch at Lodge. Afternoon game drive in Lake Manyara National Park. Dinner and overnight at Kirurumu Tented Lodge / Similar.
From the entrance gate, the road winds through an expanse of lush jungle-like groundwater forest where hundred-strong baboon troops lounge nonchalantly along the roadside, blue monkeys scamper nimbly between the ancient mahogany trees, dainty bushbuck tread warily through the shadows, and outsized forest hornbills honk cacophonously in the high canopy.
Contrasting with the intimacy of the forest is the grassy floodplain and its expansive views eastward, across the alkaline lake, to the jagged blue volcanic peaks that rise from the endless Maasai Steppes. Large buffalo, wildebeest and zebra herds congregate on these grassy plains, as do giraffes – some so dark in coloration that they appear to be black from a distance.
Inland of the floodplain, a narrow belt of acacia woodland is the favoured haunt of Manyara’s legendary tree-climbing lions and impressively tusked elephants. Squadrons of banded mongoose dart between the acacias, while the diminutive Kirk’s dik-dik forages in their shade. Pairs of klipspringer are often seen silhouetted on the rocks above a field of searing hot springs that steams and bubbles adjacent to the lakeshore in the far south of the park.
Day 14. Lake Manyara / Arusha / Amboseli.
Breakfast and leave for Arusha, Have lunch and proceed to Namanga border where your Kenya Guide will receive you and head to Amboseli, enroute game drive as you head for dinner and overnight at Amboseli Serena Safari Lodge / Similar. The park is 39,206 hectares (392 km2; 151 sq. mi) in size at the core of an 8,000 square kilometres (3,100 sq. mi) ecosystem that spreads across the Kenya-Tanzania border.
Crowned by Mount Kilimanjaro, he highest free-standing mountain in the world, Africa’s highest peak, the Amboseli National Parks is one of Kenya’s most popular parks. The name “Amboseli” comes from a Maasai word meaning “salty dust”, and it is one of the best places in Africa to view large herds of elephants up close. Nature lovers can explore five different habitats here ranging from the dried-up bed of Lake Amboseli, wetlands with sulphur springs, the savannah and woodlands. They can also visit the local Maasai community who live around the park and experience their authentic culture.
Day 15. Amboseli.
Breakfast and proceed for a full day of game drives in the photogenic Park, Amboseli is famous for huge herds of elephants and hosts a great number of other game including the lion, the splendid cheetah and a variety of Birdlife. Late afternoon / early evening return for dinner and overnight at Amboseli Serena Safari Lodge / Similar.
Day 16.Tsavo West National Park – “Land of Lava, Springs & Man-Eaters”
Breakfast and depart via shaitani lava flows to Tsavo west arriving for lunch at Lodge. Afternoon game drive extending to mzima springs.
From the sight of fifty million gallons of crystal clear water gushing out of from the under parched lava rock that is the Mzima Springs to the Shetani lava flows, Tsavo West is a beautiful, rugged wilderness. The savannah ecosystem comprises of open grasslands, scrublands, and Acacia woodlands, belts of riverine vegetation and rocky ridges including the Poacher’s Lookout where visitors can see the teeming herds in the plains below. Tsavo West offers some of the most magnificent game viewing in the world and attractions include elephant, rhino, Hippos, lions, cheetah, leopards, Buffalos, diverse plant and bird species including the threatened corncrake and near threatened Basra Reed Warbler.

Ancient lands of Lions, in 1898 the Uganda railway construction was abruptly halted by the two of the most voracious and insatiable man-eating lions appeared upon the scene, and for over nine month waged intermittent warfare against the railway and all those connected with it in the vicinity of Tsavo.
A vibrant volcanic arena; molten lava that form Shetani lava spewed from the earth just about 200 years ago and its fiery fury was thought by locals to be work of the Devil.
Poacher’s Lookout and roaring rocks; the Park abound the panoramic vintage point from which to view the movement of the herds.
Glorious game drives; Tsavo west offers some of the most magnificent game viewing in the world
Ngulia Sanctuary; this is where the growing population of highly endangered black rhino are inching from chasm of extinction forced upon them by rampant poaching in the 1960s.
Lake Jipe, lies astride Kenya and Tanzania boarder and is teeming with aquatic life, Bird watching I also major activity around the lake.
First World War Site-East African Campaign, Perhaps the most bizarre campaign of the world war was fought in the “Bundu” (Bush) – the barely explored wilderness of thorny scrub and dense forest of Tsavo west. Day 17.Tsavo West National Park.
Full day in Tsavo west, After breakfast leave with picnic lunch boxes, have a full day of game viewing inside the Park. All meals and overnight at Kilaguni Serena Safari Lodge / Similar.
Day 18.Tsavo East.
Breakfast at Tsavo west and crossover to Tsavo east with enroute game drive as you proceed to arrive at Lodge for lunch. Late afternoon game drive to savour the beauty of the Park. Look for the famous “Man Easters of Tsavo” among plenty of other wild animals. Dinner and overnight at Voi Wildlife Lodge / Similar.
Day 19.Tsavo East.
Full day in Tsavo East . Enjoy early morning and late afternoon game drives or after breakfast leave with picnic lunch boxes for a full day of game drive. All meals and overnight at Voi Wildlife Lodge / Similar.
Day 20. Nairobi.
Breakfast at lodge and later depart for Nairobi arriving at approximately 1700hrs. Drop off at the airport for your onward flight home after a memorable Kenya Tanzania road trip.
