Booking Terms and Conditions – Kenya Tanzania Safaris, Trips & Tour Packages.
The following terms as used in these Terms & Conditions shall be considered synonymous… safari, tour, itinerary and trip, all of which refer to the travel arrangements being booked with Kenya Safari Deals. Additionally, the following terms: client, guest, participant, member, passenger and traveler all refer to you, as the traveler.
Tour Prices quoted include:
Accommodations as indicated in each itinerary, based on either twin-bed rooms or double bed rooms (or tents where applicable).
Meals as indicated in each itinerary, and domestic bottled water with group meals.
Arrival and departure transfers and all other land transport.
For Kilimanjaro and other mountains: Services of professional and English speaking guides (or other specified international language speaking guides), skilled cook, and enough number of porters for carrying your luggage, food, and water.
For safaris: Services of English speaking driver guide (or other specified international language speaking guide).
Entrance fees to National Parks, game reserves and museums, and ALL other applicable fees and taxes.
A Safari vehicle, equipped with luxurious game viewing and touring, with a guarantee window seat!
Not included in quoted tour prices:
Costs of passports or visas; excess baggage charges; travel insurance; airfares and airport departure taxes (unless explicitly stated); any sightseeing, game drives or meals not listed in the itinerary; personal expenses such as beverages, (other than bottled water as noted in Tour Inclusions), laundry, communication charges, and gratuities.
Reservations and payments:
A deposit of 30% of total safari cost is required at the time you book. The remainder of the price of your trip is due 45 days prior to your arrival. For any bookings within 45 days of departure, the full tour amount will be charged upon booking. Payments can either be made by electronic bank transfer or by credit card (Master Card and Visa) through our payment gateway over an encrypted Internet connection. We will never ask you to send us any credit card details by email nor will we keep any records of your credit card details. The protection of your personal data is paramount to us.
Cancellations policy applies as:
• 35% if cancelled between 45 and 35days prior to arrival
• 50% if cancelled between 34 and 15 days prior to arrival.
• 100% if cancelled 14 days and 24hours prior to arrival
Persons not fit for long trips due to heart disease, chronic illness, physical handicap, advanced pregnancy or mental illness should not participate.
Alterations to tours:
Bush Bay Safaris reserves the right to alter or modify the itinerary of any tour, if air schedule or surface transportation changes, security matters and/or events beyond its control make such alterations necessary.
Accommodations and arranged sightseeing are subject to change at any time due to unforeseen circumstances or circumstances beyond our control. Every effort will be made to operate tours as planned, but alterations may occur after the final itinerary has been issued.
Specific requests such as connecting or adjacent rooms, smoking or non-smoking rooms and special dietary needs should be advised at time of booking. Please be advised that every effort will be made to secure your special request; however, they can not be guaranteed.
Baggage and personal effects are at owners risk throughout the tour. Luggage weight restrictions on some Internal flights may apply; details will be provided on your itinerary.
Bush Bay Safaris may take photographs or film of its trips and trip participants, and participant grants us express permission to do so and for us to use such for promotional or commercial use.
Departures date and price:
These tours are scheduled to operate through out the year. Prices quoted are based on current tariffs, exchange rates and airfares and we reserves the right to alter prices quoted should inflation, costs of fuel, labor or material, air fares or foreign exchange rates change.
Claims and refunds:
Except for verifiable extenuating circumstances, refunds are not made for any missed tour services. There will not be any refund if you cancel the tour that is in progress. For verifiable claims to be considered, they must be received in writing within 45 days of the termination of the tour.
